Nasa’s library exhibit reaches Georgia

On July 4, 2003 we reported that the “NASA @ your library” traveling exhibit, featuring six iMacs and a plasma-screen theater, would be taking a two year tour of US libraries. MacMinute reader Lee Moon wrote in to let us know that the exhibit is currently spending this month at the Brunswick Regional Library in Brunswick, Georgia. “I was very excited when we were selected to be among the first group of libraries to receive the exhibit.,” writes Lee. “On Wednesday, 9/17/03, the exhibit was set up. Our first full day with it open to the public has been great. Folks drool over the iMacs, chase the projected NASA logo on the floor, and experience the cool audio and video from the plasma TV module. I’ve spent just a few minutes watching the iMac videos and they are superb. When time permits, I’ll be trying out each iMac station to see what sort of information they present.” Lee has also snapped some photos of the exhibit.
