Alexander Wilson Studios today released AWS Guitar Tuner 1.2, an update to the popular guitar tuning software for musicians. The new version adds support for eight common alternative tunings including Open G, Open D, Open A, Open E, E Minor, Drop D, Double Drop D, and Halfstep Down. Other enhancements in this release include a “Piano” voice and an individual note player (one full octave from A to G#). AWS Guitar Tuner 1.2 requires Mac OS X 10.1 or later and is freeware.
