Intelli Innovations today introduced the IntelliSwipe, a Mac-compatible USB credit card reader. Emulating a USB keyboard, the IntelliSwipe reader “types” credit card information into any application (including FileMaker Pro, credit card authorization software, Microsoft Office, Web browsers, point-of-sale applications, and text editors) using a simple text output format. The IntelliSwipe supports all major credit cards and requires no drivers. The US$229.95 device is available now and works with both Mac OS 9 and OS X.
