As previously reported, popular “ska-punk” band Less Than Jake performed at the grand opening of the Apple Store in Santa Monica, CA on July 11. It was the band’s first acoustic set ever. Four songs from the performance — “Suburban Myth,” “The Ghosts of You and Me,” “History of a Boring Town” and “Welcome to the New South” — will be available exclusively on Apple’s iTunes Music Store starting tomorrow as a digital EP called “Less Than Jake: Live From The Apple Store.” The EP will sell for US$3.95 (tracks will also be available individually for $.99). In addition, the in-store performance was videotaped and will be made available in QuickTime format.
