REALbasic to support Linux development

REAL Software today announced plans to support Linux in REALbasic 5.5, the next major upgrade to its cross-platform visual development environment. REALbasic 5, currently shipping, creates applications for Windows and Macintosh from either platform from a single code base. REALbasic 5.5 will add the ability to create Linux applications from Windows or Macs. REALbasic 5.5 beta is currently scheduled for Q4 2003, with the final version shipping in Q1 2004.
