Macs in action: Fossil, Giants, Sharks

Apple has updated its Pro section with a new article on how the Fossil watch company’s 150-person creative department uses Macs for everything from marketing to product development. “In the graphics area, we’re using InDesign in conjunction with Photoshop and Illustrator,” senior VP Tim Hale says. “We’re developing creative content for the Web on the Mac. We’re doing all the pre-press on Macs. Even in our photography studio, the Mac is used as a driver for the digital cameras. Our apparel graphics department is all using Macs; the leather support, all our catalogs, the graphic design and labeling.” Apple has also posted articles on how Macs were used to create documentaries based on sharks and the indie band They Might Be Giants.
