Final Cut Pro users to gather in NYC

The Final Cut Pro User Group (FCPUG) Network, which consists of over 25 FCP user groups from around the world, have arranged to meet at the New Yorker Hotel in New York City on Thursday, July 17 during the Macworld CreativePro Expo. Guests for the event include Apple’s Brian Schmidt, who will demo DVD Studio Pro 2, and Final Cut Pro Product Manager Paul Saconne, who will demo “What’s new and what you should know in FCP 4.” The meeting will be open to the public on a first come-first seated basis with doors opening at 5:00 p.m. and the meeting starting at 6:30. There will be a US$5.00 donation requested at the door and snacks and drinks will be available.
