PowerSchool announces Student Information System 3.6

PowerSchool, a division of Apple, today announced PowerSchool Student Information System (SIS) 3.6, the latest version of the company’s Web-based, single-server Windows and Macintosh compatible student information system for K-12 schools and school districts. PowerSchool 3.6 features “more scheduling versatility, expanding on the Master Schedule Builder of version 3.5. Improvements include matrix displays for graphical representation of student schedules across the term, walk-in scheduling for enrolling students one section at a time, improved management of state attendance reports, and additional features to accommodate complex scheduling. Legacy data conversion has been enhanced as well for automatic data upgrades from any legacy system, with no loss or corruption of data.”
