Doug’s AppleScripts for iTunes has released iCal Calling iTunes 3.0, the latest version of the application that lets you use iCal to schedule iTunes music playlists to play. With the free version of the software users can schedule the start and stop times of playlists, set playlists to shuffle before playing, and schedule Internet radio stations. Paying the US$5 shareware fee unlocks the software’s enhanced features, which include support for setting iTunes volume by event, recognition of recurring events, and the ability to use more than a single iTunes Calendar. Doug’s AppleScripts for iTunes offers over 190 free AppleScripts for iTunes and resources for users who write them.
