Sonnet Technologies today announced a 512MB version of its Piccolo USB flash drive. About the size of a AA battery, the Piccolo is used like any removable media and is cross-platform compatible with any computer that has a standard USB connection, including most Macs and PCs. The new Piccolo is available now along with all other available sizes offered at the following lower prices: 512MB – US$199.95, 256MB – $129.95, 128MB – $79.95, and 64MB – $49.95. Sonnet also today lowered prices by as much as US$70 on its entire line of Encore/ST G4 processor upgrades. Sonnet’s new lower prices on Encore/ST upgrades are as follows: 800 MHz – $279.95, 1.0 GHz – $429.95, and 1.2 GHz – $529.95.
