Mac Design Conference hosts public expo for Mac users

The organizers of the Mac Design Conference today announced that they are opening the conference’s tech expo to the public on Wednesday, May 28 and Thursday, May 29. “Mac users who are interested in technology and design solutions can see the latest offerings from vendors and test new product releases through expert demonstrations and hands-on sessions. In addition to learning about new technologies from exhibitors like Apple, HP, Pantone, and others, individuals who attend the expo can also get specialized training on products like Wacom tablets and the new Corel Painter 8, take home sample merchandise, and get discounts on hardware, software, and training materials specifically for design professionals.” Admission to the Mac Design Conference tech expo is US$25 at the door or free for individuals who pre-register. The Mac Design Conference takes place May 28-30 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in the greater Chicago area. It will feature three days of training in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, QuarkXPress, Dreamweaver, Flash, After Effects, Avid, and Mac OS X for US$499.
