PeopleSoft today announced that it plans to certify Apple’s open source-based Safari Web browser, allowing users of the company’s enterprise applications to take advantage of Safari’s features, such as SnapBack navigation and tabbed browsing. “The Safari browser delivers the fastest Web browser performance in the Mac OS X environment and once certified will enable PeopleSoft users to be more productive,” notes the press release. PeopleSoft says that Safari support will be available in the fourth quarter of this year.
