Several MacMinute readers report that the online Apple Store now has AppleWorks version 6.2.7: “I was just at Apple’s Web site and on their store page under ‘Apple Software’ AppleWorks is listed as 6.2.7 instead of the current 6.2.4, and it also has a new box (all white with just a pencil standing up). When you go to the non store part of Apple’s Web site and select ‘Software’ where it lists all of Apple’s software titles and details, Apple Works is still listed as 6.2.4, but has the picture of the new box. I would have to say that an update to Apple Works will be announced very soon. It is unclear though whether or not it will be a free update.” No information on improvements or new features in version 6.2.7 is available.
