MasterWriter, Inc. today announced it is now shipping MasterWriter 1.0, the company’s software for professional songwriters. MasterWriter, which is written entirely in 4D, combines a set of rhyming, phrasal and informational reference dictionaries, an advanced database for organizing work in progress and complete word processing functionality. In addition it includes a hard-disc recorder for melodies, a MIDI drum loop library and Songuard, an online date-of-creation song registration service. MasterWriter is available for Macintosh and Windows, priced at US$289.
