Lexar Media has announced a significant number of new products including: a 7-in-1 USB 2.0/1.1 Multi-Card Reader (available in April for $39);
the JumpDrive Secure, a rugged portable USB storage device with encrypted, password-protected security software for Mac OS X and Windows (available in March in 64MB, 128MB and 256MB — $59, $89 and $149, respectively); 2GB and 4GB CompactFlash cards, speed rated at 32x (2GB will ship in March for $699, 4GB in the 2nd quarter for $1,499); Olympus xD-Picture Cards in the highest capacity available, 256MB (available in April); X-speed-rated Secure Digital flash memory in 256MB and 512MB capacities (available now); and its second-generation Digital Photo Player (ships in March for $79).
