Apple Australia’s managing director leaving

Apple Australia’s managing director, Ben Bowley, will leave the company at the end of March, according to The Age. Both internal and external candidates are being considered for his position, although the strongest speculation is that an executive from Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino, California may be sent to Sydney. Bowley said on Friday that he wants to start his own tourism business. He also said that he leaves Apple Australia in good shape. “We had a good last quarter, despite the tough trading conditions, and we have another good one coming up. The business is strong.”
