Power On Software today announced that it is changing its name to Now Software, indicating its focus on Now Up-to-Date & Contact, the company’s flagship personal information manager product. In addition, the company has announced that Andrew Marks, former president of Invata International, has been hired as Chief Operating Officer. The press release notes that this year Now Software will begin unveiling a series of productivity applications based on, and compatible with, Now Contact and Now Up-to-Date.
