Final Cut Pro User Group Network to gather at Macworld Expo

The Final Cut Pro User Group Network will be holding “the largest gathering of Final Cut Pro users and gurus” at Macworld Expo on Wednesday, January 8 at the Marriott Hotel’s Yerba Buena room, beginning at 6:45 PM PT. The event will bring together leaders from the Los Angeles, Boston, Chicago, San Francisco, and Cupertino FCP User Groups, as well as dozens of other FCP Gurus from the USA and abroad. Scheduled to be on the agenda will be FCP Product Designer Brian Meaney, who will talk about FCP and beyond. Final Cut Pro trainer Steve Martin will present FCP tips and tricks. Digital Film Tree’s Ramy Katrib and Zed Saeed will discuss and show how they developed the workflow for legendary film editor Walter Murch, currently editing the film “Cold Mountain” with FCP. There will also be filmmaker show and tells, “Stump the Gurus” and a raffle with prizes valued in the thousands of dollars. Seating is limited and on a first come first serve basis.
