Ben Mackin has announced the release of Cocoa eFax 1.0.0, a straightforward application that sends and receives faxes using just about any fax modem. Cocoa eFax is US$10 shareware for the full release, but the software allows for unlimited receiving, and 5 sends prior to payment.
