Brother International today announced the new MFC-5200c, which will replace its flatbed color MFC-9200c. The new 6-in-1 MFC-5200c comes standard with the company’s upgraded PhotoCapture Center feature, enabling users to print color photos and images directly from Memory Stick, CompactFlash, and SmartMedia cards. The MFC-5200c also features a color printer, color fax, color copier, color scanner and PC fax. It will begin shipping in early October for an estimated street price of US$399. Also announced was the MFC-3200c, replacing MFC-3100c. The new sheet-fed color Multi-Function Center is a 5-in-1 color printer, color fax, color copier, color scanner and PC Fax. The MFC-3200c has an estimated street price of $229.99 and will also begin shipping in early October, with a $30 mail-in rebate launch promotion that runs until December 31.
