Aladdin Systems today announced the release of StuffIt Standard Edition 7.0 (previously called StuffIt Lite), the latest Mac version of the company’s popular access and compression utility. StuffIt 7.0 includes the new StuffIt X file format, a new user interface, and long File name support, among other features. StuffIt Standard Edition 7.0 is available now for Mac OS 8.6 or higher and Mac OS X, priced at US$49.99. Last week, Aladdin released StuffIt Deluxe 7.0. Please note that the Aladdin Web site has not yet been updated with the latest information on the Standard Edition.
