Emagic releases Logic Platinum 5 for Mac OS X

Emagic today released Logic Platinum 5.3.0, the first Mac OS X version of the company’s flagship application that combines digital audio recording and editing, digital signal processing, software instruments, MIDI sequencing and music notation. Further information on the enhancements included in the update can be found here. Logic Platinum 5.3.0 is also accompanied by the release of Mac OS X hardware drivers for Emagic’s range of USB MIDI and audio interfaces. The update is free to registered users of Logic Platinum 5, and works with both Mac OS X 10.1.5 and Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar). Apple acquired Emagic in July.
