Formac Electronic today announced TiVeRon, digital video recording software for the company’s studio dv/tv media converter. Using the new software, TV fans will be able to schedule and record shows ahead of time, even from remote locations via the Internet or a network. The software is compatible with Mac OS X 10.2 and is shipping immediately with all studio dv/tv units. Existing studio dv/tv customers can download a free software upgrade from Formac’s site.
