Apple introduces SuperDrive eMac, lowers iMac pricing

Apple has introduced a SuperDrive-equipped eMac model with a faster processor, more RAM, and a higher drive capacity than its entry-level sibling. The SuperDrive eMac ships with an 800MHz G4 processor, 256MB RAM, and a 60GB hard drive and sells for US$1,499. The entry-level eMac has been updated to feature a DVD/CD-RW Combo Drive and remains priced at $1,099. Both models are available now. Additionally, Apple has reduced the price of the CD-RW and Combo Drive iMac models to $1,299 and $1,499, respectively.
