Popular Science offers some quick pointers for customers in the market for an inkjet photo printer, noting that the size of the ink drop — and not resolution — is the most important factor in achieving perfect prints. The magazine recommends at least four picoliters, although two is more ideal, and the smallest currently available. “The Holy Grail is 1 picoliter, the point at which the human eye wouldn’t be able to perceive any graininess.”
