Palm hits all-time low on S&P 500 news

Shares of Palm slid 16 percent to $0.82 today after Standard & Poor’s announced yesterday that it would drop Palm from its S&P 500 index, due to Palm’s low market capitalization and share price, Reuters reports. Shares of Palm are trading at an all-time low, having traded as high as $5.35 in the last year.
