OpenOffice for Mac OS X developer build released

A developer build of OpenOffice for Mac OS X was released today, as noted by The Register. Version 1.0 runs on DarwinPPC, and Mac OS X 10.1.2 and higher with help from other open source projects, and can save files and print to PostScript printers. “A mature, native OS X version of OpenOffice will be a boon for native Farsee, Arabic and Hebrew writers, as all these are or will be supported,” notes the article.
