Mossberg: Windows iPods “work perfectly”

The Wall Street Journal’s Walter Mossberg discusses Apple’s new iPods in his latest column, noting that he he has been testing a near-final version of the iPod for Windows, which will be available to consumers in late August, and that synchronization “works perfectly.” Mossberg also points out that the new Windows iPods have a Windows-formated hard drive, so users who have a Mac-formated iPod will still have to use a third-party application, such as MediaFour’s XPlay, to connect their iPod to a PC.
