Yellow Dog Linux 2.3 offers the new KDE 3 desktop which provides a number
of high-tech features such as GUI ‘translucency’ –another leap in the
Linux user experience.

YDL 2.3 defaults to the CUPS print system: a simple, web-based
configuration tool for high-quality support for a wide-range of printers.

In addition, YDL includes ‘apt-get’ to replace ‘yup!’ as a simple, proven,
automated update utility that enables the user to keep their installed
system current. apt-get provides intelligent, automatic dependency handling
to help reduce the hassles involved in package management.
