Microsoft plans Office v.X update

Microsoft plans to release an update to its Office v.X suite for Mac OS X in late May or early June, according to c|net. The update will include feature additions such as full support for anti-aliasing text, ODBC support, and the ability for Office to communicate with FileMaker servers as well as more than 1,000 bug fixes. However, the update will not add expanded support for communicating with a Microsoft Exchange server to its Entourage e-mail client — a feature sorely missed by both business customers and Apple.
