Jiiva announces Application Builder Collection Version 1.2

For Immediate Release

Beaverton, OR (March 30, 2002) – Jiiva, Inc., announces Application Builder
Collection Version 1.2. Application Builder Collection (ABC) is the first
professional-grade set of reusable Cocoa frameworks for building solid Mac
OS X applications. Version 1.2 adds two new User Interface elements and
polishes up existing elements, further expanding developer productivity
with the use of Interface Builder. ABC Version 1.2 is a free upgrade for
existing customers and is available for purchase at store.jiiva.com.

“Version 1.2 contains some significant enhancements,” says Jiiva’s
President Mark Ericksen. “We’ve expanded the calendar popup to include a
time editor, implemented keyboard navigation on most elements, added a
clickable URL field, and added many features requested by customers.”
Ericksen continues, “ABC Version 1.2 is now available in a free trial
version, available for download from www.jiiva.com/abc/download/ and I
think potential customers will really have some fun trying it out. It’ll
really show them how valuable ABC is, how easy it is to use, and how many
great uses it has. We’re also looking forward to showing off ABC at our
Exhibitor Booth this May at Apple’s WWDC. We’re looking forward to meeting
you – stop by and say hi!”

Application Builder Collection is a set of User Interface elements,
reusable objects, and development applications designed to reduce the time
required to build feature-rich Cocoa applications. By reducing the time
needed to put together the basic elements of software, ABC allows a
software development company to focus on the features and design elements
that set its application apart from the competition.

ABC is an extension to the Cocoa development tools and kits provided by
Apple Computer. The Cocoa development environment has a rich set of objects
for writing powerful applications and ABC builds on this solid foundation
by leveraging existing classes, naming conventions, and design patterns.
ABC is designed to take full advantage of Mac OS X, including the smooth
look of the Aqua interface. ABC is easy for the novice or experienced Cocoa
programmer to understand and use.

Pricing for ABC is $199.99 for a single machine development license. No
deployment license or royalties are required. Quantity discounts are
available through our on-line store at store.jiiva.com. Visit the Jiiva web
site at www.jiiva.com/abc/ for more details about Application Builder
Collection.
