Analyst: Apple’s window to warn likely Mar. 25 – Apr. 5

On the heels of reports that Apple will cut it close in meeting it’s projected US$1.43 billion in revenue this quarter, Needham analyst Charles Wolf has told MacMinute that if an earnings warning is made, it will likely happen between March 25 and April 5. “I’m somewhat skeptical Apple will announce a warning,” said Wolf, “but I’m certain that it will be a close call in any case… G4 professional systems aren’t flying off the shelves and they’re not making enough flat-panel iMacs. They have to sell something and it appears they’re not selling enough of their staple products.” Apple’s fiscal second-quarter ends March 31.
