U.S. House wary of digital security bill

The U.S. House of Representatives seems ready to oppose any bill that would require digital devices to feature software that would prevent the copying of copyrighted works, according to Wired. The controversial Security Systems Standards and Certification Act (SSSCA), which has been drafted but not yet introduced in the Senate, gained momentum last week after leaders of the entertainment industry told a Senate committee that their industry is threated by piracy.
