InterMapper Remote 1.0, release version

Dartware LLC is pleased to announce that the final version of InterMapper
Remote(tm) 1.0 is now available.

InterMapper Remote provides a remote view on your network. Working in
conjunction with InterMapper (http://www.intermapper.com), it will allow
you to see the real-time status of your routers, switches, servers, and
other networking equipment from a remote location.

InterMapper Remote is a cross platform tool. It runs on MacOS X, Windows
NT/2000, and as well as many versions of Unix and Linux.

InterMapper Remote connects to an InterMapper server (a copy of InterMapper
running in your office or data center) and displays an up-to-date copy of
any of the maps on the screen. You can click on a device to get detailed
information about it, or click on a link to see traffic statistics. In
addition, you can acknowledge alarms from the InterMapper Remote program.

Who can use InterMapper Remote?

* A consultant can watch their customers’ maps from the office.
* Help desk staff can see what’s happening on the InterMapper screen
* A network manager can see the live maps at home instead of looking
at the static web images.
