ChronoSync: Easy File Synchronization to Mac OS X

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Econ Technologies Brings Easy File Synchronization to Mac OS X Users

Oviedo, Florida — February 18, 2002 — Econ Technologies has released
ChronoSync, their latest Cocoa based Mac OS X product. ChronoSync easily
synchronizes or backs-up files and folders in a variety of ways.
Synchronize files between folders, hard drives, removable media, laptops,
file servers, or any computer – it is not only limited to a Macintosh.
Download the demo and try it out, or purchase ChronoSync for only $19.95.

ChronoSync comes fully loaded with features all built around an easy to use
interface that includes a fully customizable toolbar. All synchronization
settings are stored as documents that can be run or modified at any time.
Synchronize files in any direction or bi-directionally. Establish simple,
intermediate, or advanced rules to include or exclude files by name, size,
date, extension, plus other more advanced options. Compare files before and
after synchronizations to see the status of every file, even run trial
synchronizations to check results before committing. Use special options
that ignore invisible files, resolve alias, preserve folder attributes and
synchronize deletions. A transaction log maintains a complete history of
all synchronizations run with options for exporting, printing, and even the
ability to record detailed entries.

ChronoSync provides the unique ability to automate synchronizations and
backups with a full featured scheduler. Synchronizations can be scheduled
to occur at launch, termination, once, or any repetitive time frame
desired. ChronoSync can launch at system startup and synchronizations can
run in the background while you continue to work.

ChronoSync can also be effectively used as a ‘lightweight’ backup utility.
Dedicated backup utilities are great, but can be somewhat difficult and
burdensome to use. Using ChronoSync as a backup tool is a simple matter of
identifying a folder containing critical data as a local target, and
choosing a location where a duplicate copy of that data will be stored as
the remote target. Scheduling a synchronization automates the backup
process completely and gives you one less thing to worry about.

Econ Technologies once again delivers ease and power for Mac OS X users,
all for only $19.95. To download the demo or purchase ChronoSync go online
to http://www.econtechnologies.com. ChronoSync requires Mac OS X or later.
