Spiderman boosts Apple trailers, FileMaker helps Jimmy Neutron

Apple’s ties to the movie industry continue to flourish. During the week of December 16, traffic to Apple’s movie trailers page increased significantly with the release of the Spiderman trailer, which attracted more than 134,000 “office workers,” according to Nielson/NetRatings. Traffic for Apple’s trailers page as a whole climbed 101 percent among office workers, to 834,000. Meanwhile, FileMaker—a subsidiary of Apple—today issued a press release explaining the role that FileMaker Pro played in the development of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, which opens in theatres today across the U.S.
