MCE today introduced its Lucid 8x8x24x portable FireWire CD-RW. The bus-powered device weighs less than a pound and measures just 0.8-inches thick, complementing the design of Apple’s systems. The Lucid drive is bundled Toast and is also iTunes/Disc Burner-compatible; it carries a US$299 price tag. An optional AC adapter is available for $14.99.
