Pogue preps consumers for PC shopping

David Pogue, Technology Editor for The New York Times and former Macworld columnist, has written an article aimed at preparing consumers interested in buying a home computer this holiday season. The article, which largely focuses on PC solutions and manufacturers, also reminds users that Macs come standard with some components that must be added on to base PC systems, and unequivocally recommends the Mac for video editing. “If you have a choice, get a Macintosh. Every model comes complete with the camcorder-input jack you need… and an elegant video-editing program called iMovie 2.”
