AOL this past weekend quietly delivered cable modem access to some of its customers in Columbus, Ohio. EarthLink also began servicing customers in that area over AOL Time Warner’s cable lines as part of an earlier agreement between the two companies. As part of their merger, AOL Time Warner agreed to grant ISPs open access to its cable lines.
