School district implements wireless networks, Apple technology

The Quaker Valley school district in Pennsylvania is one of three of the state’s new “digital” districts, which will receive US$2 million in funding to implement new technology. For Quaker Valley, the money has allowed the district to build wireless networks in all four of its schools, while providing teachers with PowerBook G4 system and students with new iBooks. Students will also receive cable modem access at home, provided by the school.
