Appeals court rejects Microsoft delay

A federal appeals court has rejected Microsoft’s bid to delay the government’s antitrust case against the company. The case will now be sent back to a lower court, where a judge will determine what remedies should be taken against Microsoft. For its part, Microsoft maintains that it is open to settling the case outside of court, although the company has vehemently rejected any settlements that involve splitting the company.
