LaCie has begun shipping its new SuperDLT220 tape drive, which supports up to 220GB of compressed data and transfer speeds of up to 11MB/sec. The device features an ultra wide SCSI interface and sells for US$4,999 with a 5-license copy of Dantz’ Retrospect backup software.
