MacHack conference kicks off 72 hours of developer fun

The 16th annual MacHack kicked off today at midnight CDT in Dearborn, MI. The conference, which runs for 72 consecutive hours, challenges software developers to program the most interesting piece of software — or hack to another piece of software — that they can during that time. MacHack also provides a forum for attendees to gather and chat, as well offering multiple keynotes from prominent members of the development community. Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak will present a keynote tomorrow evening; meanwhile, webcams are streaming images from the conference on the MacHack site.
