4D v6.7 for Mac OS X – Free to all 4Dv6.7 Customers
4D, Inc., publishers of the 4th Dimension v6.7 RAD/RDBMS Environment and
WebSTAR Server Suite 4, announced today that it will be providing the
native Mac OS X upgrade versions of 4D v6.7 products at no charge to
registered 4D 6.7 product owners.
“We wanted to support Apple’s move to fast track Mac OS X uptake; we
decided the best way to do this was to provide the upgrade at no charge,”
stated Brendan Coveney, president and CEO, 4D, Inc. “Upon release our
customers’ 4D v6.7 applications running today on Mac OS 9 will run natively
on Mac OS X with no changes.”
4D v6.7 for Mac OS X will be offered as a free download for all registered
4D v6.7 products owners. The beta release of 4D Server v6.7 for Mac OS X
has already been released to 4D Partners. Beginning Q3 of this year, 4D,
Inc. will begin it’s release of native Mac OS X versions of its products
starting with 4D Server v6.7 for Mac OS X.
