July 19-21
Targeting the professional user, the MACWORLD/Pro Conference will offer 40
technically advanced sessions in five tracks: oNetworking and
Communications oDigital Video and Streaming Media oAdvanced Tools for the
Mac Professionals oSpecial Art Directors Day and o The Mac Manager. These
sessions are offered on Wednesday, July 19 through Friday, July 21.

Featuring more than 60 sessions for all levels of Mac users, the
MACWORLD/Users Conference offers numerous opportunities for Mac users who
want to master the top Mac tools and get answers to problems common to
non-technical users. Industry experts have again developed “Recommended

Show Highlights

July 18
A fun and informative session for registered conference attendees, the
MACWORLD Conference & Expo Warm-Up Rally on Tuesday, July 18 will feature
guest appearances by industry insiders and will be hosted by Conference
Chairperson Paul Kent. They will inform, entertain and intrigue attendees
with their predictions of major announcements and events taking place
during the week.

July 19
Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO, will kick off MACWORLD Conference & Expo/New York
2000 with a keynote presentation on July 19, 2000, at 9:00 a.m. Open to all
conference and workshop attendees, this is sure to be a must-see event.

July 21
Another highlight of the conference program is Vision Thing Live! Macworld
magazine editors, authors and special guests go on the firing line to
answer probing questions from the audience about controversial issues of
the day. Taking place on Friday, July 21, this session will start the last
day of the conference program and is open to registered conference
attendees.
