— StarNine Moves Mac OS X Development Forward, Adds Carbon and
PowerPC G4 Velocity Engine Support to WebSTAR Developer Toolkit —

BERKELEY, Calif., January 5, 2000 — StarNine Technologies, Inc.
today reaffirmed their commitment to Mac OS X with a new release of
the WebSTAR Developer Toolkit, including a set of free templates,
commonly-used routines and code libraries to help accelerate and
simplify the creation of Carbon- and PowerPC G4 Velocity
Engine-enhanced WebSTAR API-based Plug-ins. The new WebSTAR Developer
Toolkit is available today from the StarNine Developer Program Web
site, at (http://dev.starnine.com/) and as a custom install option of
the new WebSTAR Server Suite 4.2 release (see related release dated
1.5.00).

WebSTAR API-based Plug-ins, CGIs, and other Internet server-related
