New Custom Objects Will Enable Live Views of Database Content During
the Web Authoring Process

iEC ’99 – New York, NY – April 27, 1999 – Macromedia, Inc. (NASDAQ:
MACR) today announced new custom objects for Dreamweaver which will
allow Web designers and developers to drag and drop multimedia data
stored in Oracle8i(TM), the Internet platform for business
innovation, directly into Dreamweaver 2, the solution for
professional Web site design and production. This new functionality
will enable users to visualize live database content within the Web
authoring environment, eliminating the process of saving, posting and
previewing data through their Web browser. The new Oracle8i objects
for Dreamweaver 2 will be available as a free download from
http://www.dreamweaver.com later this quarter.
