NET.DREAMS INTRODUCES MAILAGENT PLUS AND RELEASES FREE V.1.2 UPDATE

— International Webmasters Score with New MailAgent Plus; New, Free
MailAgent v.1.2 Update Improves Compatibility with ASIP, Extends
8-bit Character Support, and More —

ROHNERT PARK, Calif., April 12, 1999 — Net.Dreams today announced
the immediate availability of a new MailAgent Plus product, and a new
MailAgent 1.2 update for MailAgent Lite and MailAgent Pro. The new
MailAgent Plus has all of the core MailAgent functionality for
reliably sending email from Mac-based Web sites, plus integrated
attachment capabilities, making it a good mid-range option,
especially for users outside of the U.S. The new MailAgent 1.2 update
includes improved 8-bit character support, compatibility improvements
with ASIP, QuidProQuo and WebTEN, and a simplified key management
system for the integrated PGP capabilities in MailAgent Pro. The
update is free to any currently registered MailAgent user. Available
today at (http://www.netdreams.com/), MailAgent Lite, MailAgent Plus
and MailAgent Pro are priced at $49, $149, $249 respectively.

“International Webmasters quickly adopted MailAgent Lite and have
been clamoring for an exportable version of MailAgent with the
ability to handle multiple attachments,” explained C.J. Holmes,
principal at Net.Dreams. “We listened and are proud to offer
MailAgent Plus to people who either can’t receive encryption or are
looking for a good, reliable mid-range option for their Web-based
mail capabilities. Another way International users really benefit is
with our extended 8-bit character support, allowing non-U.S.
characters to pass through all the older 7-bit gateways currently
deployed.”

Extended 8-bit Character Support
Now, all versions of MailAgent support quoted-printable encoding,
which allows 8-bit characters to easily pass through older 7-bit
email gateways. The new quoted-printable encoding support provides
more reliable delivery of specialized characters and international
character sets. The quoted-printable encoding support also provides
smoother transfer of formatting characters to maintain message
integrity, ensure messages are preserved accurately and received
exactly as they were sent. The expanded quoted-printable encoding has
been added to all three MailAgent products — MailAgent Lite,
MailAgent Plus and MailAgent Pro.

Even Easier PGP Security in MailAgent Pro MailAgent Pro has
integrated Pretty Good Privacy (PGP) cryptography capabilities for
the transparent encryption of emailed documents. Now in MailAgent Pro
1.2 the PGP functions are even easier to administer. Webmasters can
easily copy-and-paste keys from any PGP keyring to their MailAgent
keyring, view their keyring and delete keys all from a simple browser
interface.
