Transoft & BMT Micro Announce the Release of FTP CONTROL VERSION.
3.00: New Version Includes Server to Server Transfers & Automates
Many Tasks

WILMINGTON, NC, February 8, 1999– BMT Micro, Inc. in partnership
with TransSoft Ltd. is proud to announce version 3.00 of FTP Control.
This release is a major update and introduces new features and
additional functionality unique to FTP Control.

FTP Control is an FTP client for Windows 95/98 and NT 4.0. The
application is used to transfer files over the Internet or any
network supporting the FTP protocol. FTP Control is freely available
by download and can be installed and evaluated for 30 days at no
charge. At any time during the evaluation period the user may
electronically purchase a license for a “Lite”, “Professional” or
“Power User” version of the application. The differences between
these versions are clearly explained in the extensive online
documentation.

This release of FTP Control offers a host of new features which will
appeal to Internet professionals whose requirements extend beyond
those currently available. Major features in this release include
server to server transfers (allowing files to be transferred from one
remote server to another), a full scripting language (includes a
Scripting Wizard) allowing tasks to be fully automated, the ability
to create an executable file from a script which can then be
distributed to others, CHMOD capabilities, and much, much more. For a
full feature list, please visit the FTP Control web site at
http://www.ftpcontrol.com.

FTP Control is the winner of many coveted awards. In a recent
comparison of the most popular FTP clients by C|NET, FTP Control was
rated as “The next generation FTP client” and judged as “The one to
beat.” Other top ratings come from Internet Software Technologies,
TUCOWS, WUGNET, and WinFiles.
