For Immediate Release

BOOMASoft Ships BOOMA WebForms

SANDY, Utah (Oct. 7, 1998) – BOOMASoft today announced it has begun
shipping BOOMA WebForms, an easy-to-use and cost-effective program designed
to help Web-site developers create and manage forms on their Web sites.

According to Craig Osterloh, BOOMASoft’s president, BOOMA WebForms is
perfect for small and medium-sized businesses trying to level the
Internet-commerce playing field to compete with larger companies.

“Let’s face it, for small to medium-sized businesses forms, are hard,”
Osterloh said. “They don’t know how to create them, so they don’t use them.
And they can’t afford the time, money and resources required to have them
created. But their Web sites need forms to be more than online brochures.

“BOOMA WebForms changes that. Using BOOMA WebForms, anyone can create Web
forms tied to databases in just minutes. No longer will they have to hire
outside programmers or rely on costly dedicated servers.”

The program allows developers to create forms by simply dragging and
dropping elements into the form. As the form is designed, a database is
automatically and invisibly created on the back end. BOOMA WebForms are
processed using an innovative Java applet. As a result, no programming or
server-side applications are required. This makes the product a great way
to process Web forms for the virtually hosted, Osterloh said.

BOOMA WebForms also includes an auto responder application that allows
users to define automatic responses to submitted forms. Responses can then
be sent to submitters either immediately or at pre-determined dates and
time intervals. Users can customize and personalize each response based on
the information submitted in the form.

BOOMA WebForms runs on Windows 95/98 or Windows NT and will be available
for the Macintosh in early 1999. An additional add-on application will
begin beta testing in November 1998. This add-on application allows
developers to tie existing HTML forms to a BOOMA WebForms back-end
database, complete with auto responder functions.

BOOMA WebForms has a suggested retail price of $99 and is available for
purchase from BOOMASoft by calling 801-495-3200. A free 30-day trial
